Helpful Tips for your Court Construction
How Big Is a Pickleball Court?
Determining the size of your pickleball court and how much space you have available is the first step.
The dimensions of the play area on a pickleball court are 44'x20'.
Our standard court construction package offers a 30'x60' pad. This allows you to have room around the edges, and 8' on both ends for ample room for your power serves.
Pickleball Contractors - Constructing Your Court
A Firm Foundation
The key to a durable court is constructing a firm concrete pour. As a Pickleball court construction company, we start by clearing all ground covering, grass, etc. and grading the area as needed for water runoff. We then excavate to allow for a 4" compacted gravel base and 4" of concrete. A vapor barrier is placed over the gravel to minimize moisture encroachment underneath the new concrete.
We then reinforce your court pad with fiberglass rebar on a 24" grid pattern. This reinforced concrete court means more durability, less surface disturbance and therefore more longevity from your court surfacing and paint.
Finishing Touches
Pickleball Court Surfacing and finishes are what make your court stand out as well as a pleasure to play on. Court surfacing is an art, and our craftsmen use only the best of materials. SealMaster Acrylic Sport Surface materials is used on all Tennessee Pickleball Courts. Our standard package offers up to 3 colors for a vibrant, beautiful and durable court.
Last but not least, a pickleball court is nothing without net. We offer portable posts and netting standard with each court. So should you feel the need to put down the paddles and create a dance floor or host a BBQ, well, your durable pickleball court can see you through.
